Welcome to ReMida Perth, a Reggio-inspired creative reuse centre in West Perth! We've had a bunch of new subscribers this month, and we wanted to say thanks for being part of the community by sharing more about who we are and what we do.

ReMida: the who, what, and why
Remida Perth is part of the international network of ReMida centres, which began its journey in WA in 2004. We collect discarded materials and directly repurpose them into classrooms and community-based arts and education activities. There are four main parts to what we do:
We keep discarded materials from entering landfills.
We deliver STEM and Reggio-inspired incursions and excursions throughout WA.
We offer professional learning to educators and artists, and,
We're the home of Jellyfish Plastics, a plastic reuse initiative that turns plastic bottle caps into beautiful, purposeful items.
ReMida is a place where curiosity meets creativity. Each visit to the centre offers a different and rewarding collection experience, supported by our volunteers and staff. We're a small, dynamic team whose passion for all things ReMida and Reggio is evident throughout our building in West Perth.
Maximising Membership
If you've recently joined the ReMida community as a member, here are some tips to get the most out of your collection experience:
Explore regularly: our stock is constantly changing, you'll never know what amazing resources may be waiting for you at the centre.
Engage with the community: follow our socials and be inspired. It's also the best way to stay updated about new, interesting and rare materials.
Ask us questions: We love helping people bring their projects to life. If you're feeling stuck or need an inspiration boost, have a chat with the team, and we'll get you started.
Share your creations: Take pictures! We love to see what's being made with our materials.
