Loose Parts Play - 45min
The Facilitator will use an array of age-appropriate materials to structure a visually engaging play experience for the group. Children will be supported in their explorations as they play, experiment and build with the materials. The Free Play experience is a great, non-directed session that encourages children to utilise their senses and motor skills as they engage with the materials and the environment.

Sights and Sounds - 45min
The play experience is designed to engage the senses as children interact with a diverse array of sensory-rich materials. In contrast to the loose parts play experience, the facilitator guides the sights and sound session to encourage children to interact with unfamiliar materials. Children take the lead as they discover and combine the materials to create an array of visual and auditory experiences. The session is a great all-ages activity as it encourages a range of experiences from quite calm, and gentle explorations, all the way through to whole body movements and the creation of min-music sessions.

Textures - 45min
The play experience is designed to engage the senses as children interact with a diverse array of tactile, sensory-rich materials. In contrast to the play experience, the textures session is guided by the facilitator to encourage children to interact with what may be unfamiliar materials. Children take the lead as they discover the feel of each material and their interactions with the other materials and the environment. The session is ideal for a younger cohort (6 months to 2 years) as the focus is on sensory exploration, rather than crafting an energetic play experience.
