Experiential &

Non-Directed Learning

REmida's alternate education workshops are designed to provide students with the chance to undertake curriculum based learning within an experiential based framework.

Drawing from the Reggio Emilia approach, groups of 5-10 students have the chance to demonstrate a range of assessable skills within a non-directed learning environment.

The sessions can also be used to target other skills such as communication, job readiness, team work and managing conflict.

Currently, the sessions are divided into 3 core modules that can be adapted to support the students completion of existing curriculum areas.
